I did not go to any thrifts or yardsales this past weekend.  I am trying to work on my 'organization' before buying much more.  It is going well but slowly.  I did drop into a thrift shop last week after dropping items off....don't we all do that?  I found a few cuties to share!

A flamingo souvenir bell for my collection .40

I love this mug for fall .40

These little glass bowls were so cute and yes only .40 each

I could not resist this little girl
Not sure what I will do with her
Look at that for .60 she is mine

Pyrex that was killed....death by dishwasher...look at sad!
Would you have bought this little fridgie?

I must admit I almost didn't but for the 'magic' price of .40 I knew it needed a home so I saved it

A little magic eraser and it looks better but still a poor abused piece of Pyrex.  If you have colored Pyrex please wash by hand!  No Dishwashers!  Ever!

I am going to see my Grandson later in the week.  He will be one month old on time has flown by.

I'm joining with Linda for her fun party

One month old already - is that possible? I didn't know not to put pryex in the dishwasher.
And I love the Flamingo! A little organization - a little thrift!

Oh have fun visiting with him! For the prices you pay all your finds were great!

I cannot believe your little sweetie is a month old already! It seems like he was just born a week ago!!
Love the Flamingo!!
I have really cut back on my thrifting or rather how much I buy when I thrift. I mostly look for crafting and sewing items as my dish cupboards are full to capacity! I still have dishes I have yet to unpack, but will proably stayed stored until I need them.

Do you have a flamingo collection or a bell collection? Either way that is pretty cute.

That little elf/girl may be peeking out of the leaves of a potted plant sometime in her future.

A one month old to love and hold. Heaven.

Hello Linda. Hope you are doing well. Love the things you found at the thrift store. That little girl is adorable. I didn't know that about colored pyrex. . . But I always wash mine by hand anyway. I don't know why but I do. Thanks for the tip. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Karie

Amazing that he is already a month old. Time flies! Like you, I truly need to be organizing. Working in that direction, but ..... The little pyrex dish looks much better. What did you do to clean it up? ~ Sarah

It's not only allowed but essential to buy new things when donating - at least that's what I've always thought!

Have fun squidging your grandbabe - I'm getting broody again after seeing friends' new bubs...

That little mushroom girl is so precious!! I would have bought her, too! :)

Lovin' your new flamingo Linda! That poor fridgie, I don't have to worry about that problem, everything has to be washed by hand at my house:@)

Hi Linda,
I need to catch up on some of your posts, I've been visiting around and trying to get to everyone. Of course, I always come and see you, one of my favorites.

Love the flamingo bell, I've never seen one before. My sister would love it with her collection.

Enjoy visiting your precious baby.

Awwwww, Tiger's a month old. Wowsers. Time does fly by. Enjoyed seeing all your new treasures. Oh, Linda, good for you that you are cleaning out, first. I SHOULD be doing that but it's so hard to organize. My attic is a disaster zone.

Anyway, hope your day today is good. Susan

Like you, I'm trying to show restraint at the thrift stores but it's SO hard! So much cuteness! You found some sweet things. I love the frigie even if it's a little lackluster - makes it all the more lovable. Enjoy that sweet grandson - I can only imagine you fall more in love with him with each passing day!

Never having had a dishwasher that was never an issue with me & Pyrex. Your little red container would look adorable with a plant in it.

As usual Linda you have a very generous soul! That little Pyrex would still be there if it was me....hihihi

How cute to find another flamingo for your collection. I keep seeing the big plastic ones around for sale right now and always thing of you. LOL! I did not know you could not wash those colored pyrex dishes in the dishwasher. I don't own or collect any but it is nice to know that. Wow! I hope you have a wonderful time visiting your grandson!

I'm a sucker for the pyrex, too. Happy Birthday to your grandson!

Wow, I can't believe Tiger is already a month old. Time flies when you're having fun loving on a grandson!!! I probably would have bought the fridgie, too. So sad, but still cute! Love the Silver Wheat bowls...I think they're Libbey.

Hi Linda,
What great finds! I would have had to bring that poor little piece of Pyrex home too...poor thing. Maybe some china paint would do the trick:-)
Have a good time with your handsome little grandson,

Oh Linda, our grandbabies grow up too fast! You know I love your flamingo bell, and that little toadstool girl is such a cutie! Yikes! I have put my red pyrex dishes (I have 2 just like that one, with the glass lids) in the dishwasher. So far, they look ok, but I won't be putting them in the dishwasher again. I don't understand why they work, but those magic erasers are incredible! Have a great visit with that sweet little guy. laurie

Wow! I can't believe tiger is going to be a moth old already! Love all your little treasures. I only have a few Pyrex pieces. But, I will keep the magic Eraser tip in mind!

Thank you my dear friend for the sweet comment. I love you too.
Now about that pyrex??? not sure I would have bought it, but it sure cleaned up nice with Mr. Clean eraser.
Give Tiger a big smoochy kiss for me.
Love your French gf.

Ewwwwww. Colored refrigerator glass cannot go in dishwasher?!?! I better tell "her". Dad loves his refrigerator glass and keeps bringing it home. Of course then he tells "her" to take care of it. Oh oh, maybe I better not tell "her" what happens to colored frigies....the temptation might be too great ;)

Charlie dude, is your Mom being good to you???? If not c'mon over and we'll order out for an anchovy pizza. "She" left the credit card out on the counter....fair game! Pizza time!!!

Cute finds Linda! I have a thing for flamingos. About that pyrex a word "YES" I'd have picked it up for twice the price....wanna sell it? *winks* Vanna
