JUNKIN FINDS FRIDAY #15

Welcome to our 15th Junkin Finds Friday!

We had 41 link ups last week!  I am excited to see this party growing!  I hope you are enjoying all the fun junkin finds!

This week I'm sharing a few things I recently found

I love Waechtersbach ceramic tableware

most of you are more familiar with their red pieces

This black and white Piano design is so much fun

and only 65 cents

I love hammered aluminum pieces and have several trays I use a lot.

This tray will be a fabulous new addition.

I love the design...it needs some cleaning but I am so happy I found this tray and only $3 less 15%...sometimes it's nice to be a senior

I only found three of these plates and almost didn't get them...they were $1.49 each but...then I realized they were blue stickers and 70% off...oh yes they are mine.  I can use them on a 3 tiered tray I have.

The edges are a delicate lavender and the center is a pale yellow...these will make a very pretty tablescape!

So what have you found recently?  Please follow these few rules.  Link up your post not your blog and also be sure to leave a link in your post back to the party!

Happy Junkin,

Linda

VINTAGE FINDS

I have found the thrifts pretty slim pickins lately...what they do have is often over priced...these are a couple of my vintage favorites!

You know my love of Pyrex

I found this Colonial Mist 1 Qt Casserole

No lid,  and a few nicks in the blue,  for $1.50 I felt like I had to save it!

I love Fridgies and this small Butterfly Gold was only 95 cents....that made my day

I also found this cute individual creamer

Made by Hall and only 35 cents!

I'm joining Suzanne for

For Vintage Thingy Thursday

Don't forget to come back for Junkin Finds Friday...I will have the link up Thur evening!

Be sure to use the new button

Happy Junkin,

 Linda

ORGANIZATION

Organization....my 'word' for 2011!  I'm still working on it and will all year long.  I've been giving some thought to a home office and while looking at the more then 200+ online stores CSN has I found some wonderful office desks to choose from.

Look at this beauty....I can see myself sitting here paying bills, working on my Etsy shop

or

Here....this secretary is gorgeous

of course this is more in my price range

And still cute and useful

That's what I like about CSN something for everyone and a price range to choose from!

CSN has given me a chance to review another product for them and I can't wait to shop.

Always,

Linda

JUNKIN FINDS FRIDAY #14

Welcome to February and Junkin Finds Friday #14

We have a new button for the JFF party

Thank you Bonnie!  I love it!  The other button has been deleted so hope all of you will grab this one!

This week I have  couple of thrift shop finds to share with you!

I could not resist this cute cat plate for 50 cents

Glass flower frog also 50 cents

We all know my love for birdies and these can join the grumpy salt & pepper shakers for only 75 cents

I love cookbooks and vintage Betty Crocker always makes me happy....the photos alone are a fun reason to buy this for $1.50, add the turquoise tupperware salad tongs for 25 cents and its a win win for sure

What have you found to share this week?

 Please follow these easy rules

Link up your post not your blog

Include a link back here on your post so others can join in.  That's it!

We had a great party last week with 35 entries!

I hope you will take the time to visit some of the other bloggers each week!  It is so much fun to see what treasures others have found.

Happy Junkin,

Linda

HELLO VALENTINE

I created a Valentine vignette today and I thought I would show you how easy it is to change an existing vignette for a new holiday look

Here is the Valentine vignette

This is how it looked for Chirstmas

I decided to leave the 'bones' the same and make some quick and easy changes

A pink candle, vintage valentine and hearts under the cloche.  I added a heart ribbon for some contrast

Change the plate for this starbucks saucer

Add hearts to the candy dish and a few other valentine related decorations

This is a vintage Valentine I won in a giveaway from Shara at Monekybox last year

Without the cloche

This little angel was found at a thrift shop

I added pink and florals to the plate rack

I will probably tweak this some more but not bad for a quick and thrifty change

Happy Junkin,

Linda
