THE LAST BIT'S!

It's been a long week and finally the last post on the yard sale finds.  This is just the last few bit's of this and that
This was one of our favorite signs we saw!
We stopped at this guys place
This sign cracked me up!
The guy who owns this place said he travels and just sells his junk for nine days during the Worlds Longest Yard Sale
Love his garage
He mostly had man junk but I found one thing for Mr ALC
This Wonderful Art Deco Clock
Still has the really old cord and plug (bakelite) He loves it and will clean it and work on it...he will hopefully get it working

I came upon a lady with several boxes of junk Easter and Christmas stuff...she said fill a small paper bag for $1....I did!
These are the Easter items
These are the Christmas items
Mostly junk but for $1 I had fun and most of the eggs are ceramic
This stack of Fiesta Plates was a bargain
Saucers and salad plates
This plate was a quarter and I love it
This will hang in my breakfast nook along with the other Rooster plates
Lots of roadside tents and Funnel Cakes
Didn't have any but yum!
Homemade rides for the kids!
Very cool booth that travels on a trailer!
This little item made me smile
Do you know what it is?
Made in Japan...
One last item, this very pretty violet teacup!

So that's it!  All my finds on the
World's Longest Yard Sale for 2010

Tomorrow I will show you my favorites and the prizes I am sending the winners of my contests!

See you then!

Always,
Linda

KIRBEE HERE......

Hi it's Kirbee!  Mum said since I was pink I could write today's post about her finds from the World's Longest Yard Sale that are PINK!!
I am not the fastest typist
(using my feet of course)
So here goes....Mum loves Pink!  She found lots of very happy pink items on this trip and since I love pink also here they are!
So many shades of glorious PINK
This vase was bought from the same lady with all the pottery baby shoes.  These are the pink one's!  What will Mum do with them all?  She says she might have to sell some so if you are interested please email her~!
She really likes this vase
Pretty linens
A different pink baby shoe and this very southern dogwood flower plate...just too pretty to leave
Oh and this PINK Fiesta Platter....$5 she was jumping up and down when she found this!  Cute doily underneath if you like that sort of thing.
Here I am getting a closer look at everything so I can describe all her finds for you
These old 'fish' glasses will go with the PINKS and Turquoises she has, or so she said....I would rather eat fish myself.
A closer view of the glasses and yes 'another' pink bootie planter, this time a double shoe with bows!
I had to include this picture again, well because the planter is pink and um, well ah, because I'm in it and so it's uber cute!!

That's the Pinks!  I think she is almost done with this World's Longest Yard Sale stuff...oh wait, one more post with odds and ends and some stories she says.
That's all from me, guest posting from Hotlanta!

 Blue's!!
Another little McCoy baby shoe in blue
Cute little creamer for $1
Adorable Blue Bird of Happiness
Orphan salt shaker 50 cents
Cat creamer for $1
I love this embroidered dresser scarf
I love the design on this vase, it has several chips on the rim
but for 25 cents I figured flowers would cover the chips
So many blues and they make me very happy
The man who sold this wonderful Ball jar to me for $1 was so nice and had lots of lovely items I also bought this
Wonderful pitcher from him for $3
Kirbee liked hanging out with the blue bird...
Ya know, birds of a feather and all that...
Now for the Green's
Love the color and the design on this planter for $1
This little guy just begged to come home with me!!
Another sugar bowl!  I kept finding them this weekend.  This one is in a pattern called Parsley and I love the shape.
I got both of these green glass pieces for a total $1
The one on the right is Sandwich glass!

So that is today's post of my WLYS items.
Tomorrow, PINK!

YELLOW FINDS AND MORE FROM WLYS 2010

I am working on getting all my WLYS finds photographed and posted.  Today since it is Thursday and time for Ms Jenny's Rainbow Summer School, I will be showing you my yellow finds from the weekend.
Not that many but still a few special things.
I found this cute Pyrex refrigerator dish at my last stop and this pale yellow bootie from McCoy
OK theses are more cream then yellow but they belong in the yellow family!
The cute little bunny is a salt shaker orphan and he was free!!
The shoe was one of a group I got for a great price
These are McCoy pottery baby shoes
I found this yellow planter for $1
and the February Angel for a quarter
I found these two Rooster fruit bowls that match a plate I have and I only paid $1 for the two of them!
These items aren't part of the 'yellow' post but I wanted
to share a few more finds with you
These baby shoes are coated with some kind of silver paint and they are really pretty cool, they were 50 cents each
The two taupe plates were a quarter each
I have shown you the baby spoon but the black depression glass creamer was $1 and I think it is in the Mt Pleasant pattern
These are the clear glass items I  bought
This wonderful glass frog was $3
Boopie Glasses!!  The small sherberts were $2 each and while I tried to get her to come down, she 'knew' what she had and wouldn't budge.  The other Boopie glass I got for $1
I was happy to add these to my Boopie collection

That's all for today....still more to show you so come on back!

I'm joining Ms Jenny for RAINBOW THURSDAY
and
Suzanne at COLORADO LADY
All my finds are pretty much vintage!

Thanks for your sweet comments about my trip!
I promise more photos and more stories!

Always,
Linda
