Settling In

Are you bored with my moving posts yet?
Sorry my friends, it's all I've got right now!
I brought Charlie home and this was his reaction!
He kept looking around, like where am I????
He has settled in nicely!
Watching TV with me last night on my new sofa
  I love it!

Thought I would share with you the view from my front door!
My neighbor's door is to the right...
She has all these wonderful flowers and I get to enjoy them also!
They (meaning not me) mowed the grass this morning so everything looks great!
My side of the parking pad.
As you can see the duplex's are not right on top of each other.
It is really quiet and lovely here.  The deer come out every morning and evening.   I will try to get a photo of the two babies.  They don't seem to be too afraid!
I got some more unpacked today.  I had to take a long break since I got sick last week.  I'm all better now but had a very rough couple of days.  It felt good to get the Pyrex unpacked and put away and the Paris things back in the cubbies!
I received my new book for the book club that Brenda at Cozy Little House is starting.    I have never been in a book club but this one is online and sounds fun.  Check it out!  So far the book is really good!

Many of you asked for my new address when I moved.  You know I can't remember who...lol!
If you would like it just let me know in the comments or email me and I'll send it to you!

I'm going to party here this week!

Wishing you JOY,

I could stretch out on that sofa in a minute. Charlie will feel home in no time as long as he's with you.

Sorry you go sick in the middle of your move. Charlie looks like he is settling right in his new home. Looks like the grounds are well taken care off and I like the homes are not so close together.

It looks like a lovely place you've moved into, Linda. You are wise to put your feet up and relax instead of trying to put everything in place all at once. Enjoy!

Hi Linda! Oh, little Charlie's expression made me laugh but glad to know he's comfortable now. Oh, your new sofa is gorgeous! Love the loungy part too. Lovely place and I wish you all the happiness you can stand!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Everything looks very pretty Linda! Glad you are getting all settled and Charlie is happy with his new home. My favorite part was "they mowed the lawn"... I have to work on that for myself:@)

Everything looks beautiful Linda!! To have so much space in between houses for a duplex is wonderful. Hope you're not too far from tiger!! Enjoy and keep yourself well!

What a beautiful area you live in. Those duplexes would be right on top of each other anywhere in this area. Love your new sofa and it looks lie Charlie does too. Welcome home.

LOVE your new sofa! It's a style that I would like to have.
Glad your kitty is adjusting to the move.
Your home/location looks so peaceful! NICE!
YES, I would like to have your address! Thank you!
Can't wait to see more of your home!

Sounds like you and Charlie are starting to feel right at home, Linda! That is so neat you have deer, and babies, too! Looks like a nice and private place to live:)

You have a LOVELY place to live! Charlie will be happy wherever you are! But what about Mister Toes?

It looks like a lovely place, Linda. The vet told us, when we moved, that we would need to keep our cat confined to our new location for about three weeks. Otherwise he would wander away trying to find "home." He was an outside cat, so that is when the garage became his "home." He was the one who took that final vet trip a couple of weeks ago at 21 years and two months.

Your new home is lovely, and the grounds so beautifully kept! I'm sure you'll be joining your neighbor by adding your own flowers next year.

Poor Charlie. I remember I had 2 cats and moved to a new condo. There was a ceiling fan in the living room they had to pass under to get to their food in the kitchen. That fan "monster" on the ceiling really terrified them the first few days, LOL.

Keep us posted, love the sofa.

I'm wondering how Rosie is going to react to this move...and then, again in 8 or 9 months another new house. I think as long as she's with me, we'll be okay. Your home looks cozy and getting your personal touch; I see what I have ahead of me, XOXO

Of course Charlie was wondering what the heck happened?!?! Of course now that the sofa has arrived, I am certain he is quite comfy! Looks like your move went rather well. Except for the back pain. No good there. Hopefully you will start feeling better again soon!
