Mugs & More

If you read my last post you saw my collection of Waechterbach mugs!  Many of you commented that you have some of their Christmas design dishes!
They also make dishes for another member of our family...
our pets!
I have two cat dishes and one dog dish all found at the thrift shops.  Charlie eats his dry food from the dog just cracks me up for some reason!
Charlie is not impressed!

Many of you mentioned me using a new mug each day.  I didn't mean that I have 365 mugs, even I would have trouble storing all of those.  I do have 'many' mugs and I rotate them into use by season and holidays.  So at any one time I have 10-15 mugs to choose from.  Mr ALC has his own mugs and tends to use the same mug for several days just washing it each day.
So here are some of the current mugs in rotation!
These are very 'springy' to me. Both are starbucks mugs and found at thrifts for under $1 each
These are just fun!  Love the colors of the high heels and Eeyore is inside the blue mug making me smile!
The Rooster mug has Cock a doodle doo in several languages around the inside rim.  We have two of these Cafe Du Monde mugs.  We have been there but found the mugs for .50 ea at the thrift shop, much less then buying them in the Big Easy!
I have 4 of these mug and I love them.  I like to take them on our vacations since they are plastic and insulated.  I hate coffee in a paper cup!
I bought these last year on the Worlds Longest Yard Sale!

I think that is enough about my coffee mugs!

Tiger was playing and his Daddy took this picture of him in the truck!
How can you help but smile at this cute boy!

I hope you will join me as I check out the other thrifty posts at Diann's

I can't help but smile! That boy is just adorable! :))) Cat's are so funny aren't they. I have a feeling he knows he's eating out of that dog dish too. I love your springy mugs today. So glad to hear you also had a nice day and great weather too. Looking forward to seeing your MG table next year, looks like you've already got some mugs for it too!

I dislike paper cups too. I have a Tervis coffee mug for togo's. I especially like the nifty sixtie's plastic mugs. So tropical.

Oh Charlie! You are so adorable! And the little dishes are so cute ~ very fun! I like all your mugs. They would make drinking your tea or coffee out of them all that much more enjoyable. And look at that sweet little Tiger. Kiss on the cheek!

Your spring mugs are just bursting with the coming season. I like insulated mugs too and I carry mine on vacation all the time. My husband calls me a "mug snob", so I guess that makes you one too! Welcome to the club! Your Tiger is so adorable. Dianne

Hi Linda...Tiger is getting so big. Love the straw and plastic mugs. I remember the tumblers that are like that too.
I nominated you for the versatile blogger award.

I really love that you teach me what the different "makers" are of your finds. The pet dishes are so fun, now whenever I go thrifting I'll keep an eye out for this brand.

Tiger is so big! love that picture.
And it looks like Charlie's plotting out revenge for making him use a dog dish. The nerve! ;)

My dearest Charlie..... I would not find it so amusing either to be eating out of a dog bowl. A DOG bowl?!?! Oh the horror! Well on the upside, purrhaps you get more food this way ;) S'okay dude, your still one of my favorites and I won't tell anyone else.

Jane said...

Oh my goodness!! I can't believe how big Tiger has gotten. What a cutie....and yes, he did make me smile! Love the fun mugs, I tend to use the same 3 or 4 mugs, creature of habit I guess.
Have a great week.
