It's the week before Christmas and so much hustle and bustle going on in our lives.  Mr ALC and I are taking time out to enjoy a quiet dinner for two.

We have had a few snow flurries this week so a snowflake theme seems in order!
The placemats, napkins and napkin rings were a thrift shop purchase last winter. This is my first time using them and I really love the colors.
I layered a white plate, cobalt blue depression glass plate and topped it with a milk glass bowl all found thrifting
I added snowflake water goblets from Kroger (last year on clearance) and these beautiful wine goblets (gift from my friends Terry and Dennis)
I added a snowflake to the place setting
The centerpiece is a large cloche I received from CSN.  I was asked to review a product and I choose this cloche.   I filled it with blue and silver ornaments and added some silver floral pics and beads around the milk glass cake plate it is on.  I can see me using this cloche in many vignettes
I found it hard to photograph but it looks really pretty on the table in the candlelight.
The wine is cooling in a aluminum ice bucket.  I've also added an aluminum serving piece.  These pieces have been found at various thrift stores this past summer
This was the first giveaway I ever won!
I was thrilled to receive this blown glass ornament made by
Paul Lockwood entitled VINCENT last year from Artful Home.  It's colors add a beautiful touch to this table.  The hanger with a snowflake base was found at Salvation Army last year for under $1
I added this little ornament box I found recently at the thrift shop.  It will hold some special chocolate treats for the end of the meal.
I love this snowflake tea light holder and hope to find more of them
Sparkles here and there
This table was all thrifted, gifted and won!
I hope you enjoyed seeing my little dinner for two!

I hope you will join me for
Junkin Finds Friday!
Link up your post not your blog and please include a link back to this post!

Your table is stunning! I've always liked blue for Christmas, and you obviously have mad thrifting skills. Where in the world do you keep all your dishes? Do have an extra house? A magic carpet bag? I could use one for my Pyrex. Thanks again for hosting the party.

Oh my goodness! I absolutely love your tablescape Linda! I am addicted to blue and white and I love silver with it! Originally I was going to do my blues, whites and silvers for Christmas this year but somehow it evolved to a different color scheme.

Wow, I love the blues! (especially the depression glass plates) I've always loved blues, but the only room in my house that's blue is the laundry room - and that's not my favorite!

Hi sweet Linda,
First I LOVE your "baking tree", absolutely CUTE right down to the Pillsbury Dough Boy.
Charlie has the same name as Julie's new dog : )
She finally has a cuddle bunny lol.
The cloche looks very pretty all dressed in blue. I know it's hard to take pictures of glass. I'm such a bad photographer really.
Hope your going to spend some quality time with your beautiful family Linda.
Merry Christmas to you my friend.
Love You

Sorry I didn't join up this week-didn't want to put my grandsons in the same post with "junkin".
It's so frustrating not to be able to post pictures of them, but I have to obey their wishes!
missed you!

You can definetly give Martha Stewart a run for her money sweet dear friend of mine. I miss chatting with you. Those blues with white are so CHRISTmas. You may have more snow then we do! HA! It i quite cold here but only a trickle of snow falling. Hugs Anne
