Friday Finds!

It has been awhile since I did a Friday finds.  Since I'm not thrifting very much these days I don't have a lot to share.  I do wander through the thrifts but have cut my buying down to almost nothing!
This cute cat earring holder was found at GW and I just had to have it!  It is on my dresser and holding some of my favorite earrings!
I had butterflies on my mind when I bought this .99 plastic bin.  Not sure what to do with it but it's mine now!
I love vintage table cloths and this Christmas one is round and makes a great tree skirt for $1
These footed glasses were hard to photograph, but the dragonfly on them had me smiling!  Only .75 for three!
(I looked for that 4th glass but guess that's why they were at the thrift, only 3 of them)

Three Lefton Lambs for $1
So cute!

This Hall restaurant ketchup container was .99 at Habitat for Humanity!
I could not pass this cutie up!

I've been doing a little planting as Spring has sprung!
A tomato plant
and some Herbs for my Mom
These are outside our mutual front doors.  I got this little fountain as a surprise for Mom.
It is solar powered but with the wind blowing it blows the water everywhere and empties the bird bath or bucket pretty fast!  So maybe in summer with less wind it will work better, but it's cute!

We have bird feeders and flowers and hope to plant a few more things.
In front of Mom's window and both our front doors!
In front of my window so Annie Belle and I can watch the birds from inside.
We have a young pair of Cardinals we are watching grow!
We have such a deer problem here in our neighborhood but they don't like these flowers very much so they might last!

It's cold and rainy today but hopefully I'll get a bit more outdoor planting done this weekend.

Annie says this is not her 'best' side but as you can tell from this view she has gained a lot of weight.  I bought her 'diet' food and now if I can just get her to play a bit more and lose some weight.  I am careful about the amount of food I give her but she has 'fluffed' right up!
Still a sweetie and loves her Mama...even if I do have her on a diet!

Wishing you JOY,

Linda

I enjoyed looking at all your finds. That butterfly would look cute holing miniatures of some sort. It is quite unique. I know you must enjoy having your mom right next to you. So convenient but you both have your own space. Annie is such a pretty girl...even if she has fluffed up! My Sadie is quite pudgy too and I have cut her back on her food but she just doesn't lose weight. I need to take her walking I guess. Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Hugs, Vicky

My favorite out of all your finds are those darling Lefton lambs! I don't go thrifting much these days either. I'm finally at the opposite end of the spectrum - getting rid of stuff instead of bringing more in. Love all your pretty flowers and spring plantings. Oh dear on Annie gaining so much weight and so quickly. I feed my cats mostly canned food (two of them only get a few sprinkles of dry in with the canned food once a day) - a healthy, organic one that I researched and my vet approved. It's made by Castor and Pollux and is called Organix. I get the organic chicken & chicken liver pate flavor. It's expensive, yes (approx $1.50/can and between my 3 cats, they eat 2 cans/day) - but I feel my cat's health is worth it. All of them are slim and trim and very healthy - even my 18-year old cat! I order it online through chewy.com.

Hi Linda,
My favorites are the lambs and that adorable ketchup bottle. I think Annie is so pretty. A little extra chub makes her nice and fluffy, but I'm sure the Vet will want her on a diet. Gizzy struggles with her weight too, just like her Mommy! LOL!
Glad to see you found some things to make you smile. I also love the bird bath.

hugs,
Sissie

Never seen a cat earring holder before. I have a friend who would love that kind.
Wonder if the butterfly container could be hung?

Love your finds! The area in front of your Mom's place and yours is looking awfully nice! Tell Annie I will go on a diet with her!

You have by far the best eye for "finds." I especially love the fountain and will have to look for a "solar" powered one. Have a wonderful weekend, XOXO

Fun finds!

I planted tomato seeds this season and they are looking healthy and happy. I can't wait to be eating them.

The lambs are so sweet - i would have snatched them right from your hands! Never seen the ketchup - quite unique. Annie is certainly fluffy. My vet says it's not the food but the treats that pack on calories. The wind is still howling and it is chilly.

You always find cool things while out thrifting...that kitty earring holder is cute.
Annie is beautiful even if she is a little on the fluffy side...maybe it is just the fur coat she is sporting!
Have a great weekend, Linda.

You always find the cutest things! I would've bought the tablecloth, the glasses and the lambs....

Annie Belle looks happy and fluffy. Mine are all on diets....some low cal, one high fibre and one hypoallergenic.....

Love your pretty flowers and bird feeders...I love watching the birds, too. I haven't been able to garden this year, but my husband planted the tomatoes and peppers and some of the young grandchildren are going to plant vegetables in our big tubs for fun.
