Grandma! Don't Talk!!

Last Sunday when I saw Tiger he could tell I was losing my voice.  It was gone all week long.  Sore throat, coughing.  I knew it was viral but went to my Dr just to make sure.  So it just takes time, rest, lots of fluids and more rest to get better...
oh and no talking!
I dropped by Friday for a couple of hugs and dinner!  I was talking in a pretty hoarse voice when Tiger said,
 'Grandma stop talking!!!'
I said a few more things and he said
'Grandma!!  Don't Talk!!'
He wants me to get all well so I can celebrate his birthday on April 7th.  My big boy will be 5!
Scout has turned into a Dare Devil!!
Climbing on everything!
This is her favorite chair in the living room.
She sits in it like a big girl!!

Since I was home all week 'resting' I did some more downsizing.  So here are some items I'm getting rid of.  Anyone interested in them?
Low low prices plus postage!
Let me know in comments if you are.
Four little piggies!  Orphan shakers, all vintage pigs.  Someone?  Anyone?  $2 + postage?
3 small egg coddlers!  $3 + postage
2 Large Egg Coddlers (they match)
$4 + postage
2 Large Egg Coddlers  Birds/Flowers
$4 + postage
Green Boopie Swirl glasses 4 sherbets, 2 water glasses  $10+ postage

And a gift for me!
I received this Paris cover for my cell phone from my sweet Ashleigh this week.  I love the surprises she sends me.  I won't get to see her until the end of May and I miss her very much!

So that has been my week.  I hope yours was a good one.

Wishing you JOY,

Linda

Glad you are on the mend, no singing for you for a few more days! Scout is the cutest little girl, amd Tiger! Wow! So grown up for a five year old. I am de-cluttering and making space too. Or else I would be buying! Know anyone interest in service for four of Hazel Atlas Pink Ruffle? Never used by me. Excellent condition. Thanks. Good luck!

Oh, no, Linda! Did your allergies do this to you? I'm sorry and hope you get your voice back. Little ones are so funny, aren't they? We kept Camp the other night and we just let him sleep in the bed with us. We wanted to go to sleep and he was wiggling and talking up a storm. I told him to be quiet so we could go to sleep. He got quiet and said, "you be quiet, Shesho". Ha! Love em.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

I hope you feel better this week! Your grandchildren are precious! Are those egg coddlers Royal Worcester Evesham?? I have the dish set but I don't know how an egg coddler works!

Oh Linda, that Tiger is just too cute, he definitely wants his grandma to feel better! And Scout is growing up so quickly. Why does that happen??? Please take care of yourself and rest that voice, the 7th is only a few days away :) Blessings, Cindy xo

Hurry up and get your voice back so you can sing Happy Birthday to Tiger this week, lol. You are downsizing some sweet things. Think lots of folks collect egg cups, and yours are so pretty.

Feel better soon Linda! Hugs, Pam

Follow Tiger's orders and rest your throat. My mother made a concoction of lemon, honey and bourbon for our sore throats! I think it was the bourbon that made us rest until it was healed!! Take care, dear friend, XOXO

Sweet gift from Ash - she knows you well. Tiger and Scout are adorable. Get well soon. We thought all the rain would wash away the pollen, but we were wrong - it is back again this morning. Wish I was after only primitives right now - egg coddlers are new to me.

Your grandkids are so cute! I didn't know you all were calling your granddaughter, Scout instead of Rosemary. I called her Rosemary in my last post. Sorry to hear you have a virus and lost your voice. I hope you are all better so you can sing Happy Birthday to Tiger in your loudest voice in a few days! Love the phone cover - what a sweet gift.

Your green glasses are so tempting, but I'm in a constant declutter mood, too. I did a big stack of old papers and lots of shredding. Hope you're feeling better.

Oh my, have you unloaded the pigs yet? If not, I will take them! You can mail them to me in Canada or if the postage is ridiculous, we have a pick-up place in NY. :) Let me know and I can send you the $$ whatever way works for you. I will go contact you with my email addy.

Your grandkids are adorable!
