Oh Christmas Tree!

So the big question
Is your Christmas tree...Real or Artificial?
ME, I'm an artificial Christmas tree girl.  I love the convenience, price and less mess.  I miss the smell but can always add a few pine boughs around for that.  I've had faux trees for many years.  I recently downsized from a large tree to two smaller one's.  So much easier for me to decorate and handle.
I have a green tree in the living room

and a white tree in my bedroom

Some interesting information

Do you remember the giveaway I did from Tree Classics awhile back?  Carol won the wreath and my name was put in a raffle for a $300 gift certificate.  Well I found out today that I won!
Now I have enjoyed my little $15 trees but they are several years old and so with this win I'm going to order two trees and a wreath!  I can't believe I am going to get such quality items.  I am so happy!
Thank you Nick and Tree Classics!

So Real or Artificial?

Wishing you JOY,

How wonderful that you won! WOW! I'm so happy for you. I don't have a Christmas tree unless you count the tiny one the dolls have. lol I do like to decorate though. Enjoy your week Sis! Hugs, Diane

Congrats on your win, how exciting and fun!! Love your trees, especially the white one! We always do a really big real tree, and I have a little faux 3 foot tall one I put up too. Each year I say "this is just way too much work! We need to get a really good artificial one next year!!"

Wow! Now that's exciting.
I have kind of collection of Christmas trees - mostly small ones - that live year 'round out in our Christmas Cottage.
Have no energy or plan to put a larger one up this year. Sure enjoy seeing other peoples' though!

Congrats Linda! What a great win right at Christmas time. We have a 6 foot mid-century aluminum with the color wheel, 4 foot green artificial, and tiny 1 foot purple, lol. We kept our Christmas tree stand, and some years I feel the need for a real tree so we buy one. I'm not surprised most of us have artificial trees now.

Both your trees are beautiful. Love the white tree especially!

Hi Linda and congratulations on your win! Now, I'm like you. I love to decorate for Christmas very early so it's fake trees all the way! Your trees are pretty. Hope you're feeling well now.
be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Happy that you WON!!! I LOVE real trees...however I have a fake one for the last few years as hubby wasn't fond of chopping one down. I do all the decorating, so it is easier with the fake one. I REALLY miss the smell of a real tree.
Enjoy your WIN!

Congrats on winning the gift cert Linda-enjoy your new trees! I like artificial too, don't have to worry about the branches drooping after adding ornaments:@)

Congratulations on your lucky win! Artificial trees have come a LONG way over the years. We had a large one for many years, but it became too much work to set up. Then we went with a small live tree, now it's back to a small artificial. I'll probably change my mind again next year.

We don't put up a regular sized tree anymore - just a small artificial tabletop one. But in the days when our boys were growing up, we did put up a full-sized artificial one. We tried a real tree one year and it was such a pain! Needles everywhere. We were still finding pine needles months later. Plus, I'm allergic to pine. Break out in hives if I touch it!

OOoo I am "real" all the way, but I get the appeal of artificial, and the fake trees are so good now, I'm not sure it really matters. :) THey aren't like the "bottle brush" tree i grew up with! But I just love the smell of a real tree.

Congrats on the win!! Now we can expect wonderful decorations next year as well! I am an artificial tree girl. Save trees (though tons of tree farms here just for that-think most come from Oregon!) and fake are less messy! I had a built-in vacuum system clogged by the fir tree needles one year and was expensive fix. After that for a few years I would clean up the needles by that is a tedious and difficult job! Fake trees for me!

Congratulations!!! So happy for you!
Artificial Christmas trees for us: no mess to clean up daily and keep it watered. We are also wary about tree catching on fire.

Your trees are beautiful!!! I love the white one!

Oh Linda, what a delight to win! Congratulations, my friend :) Happy shopping {{smiles}}

As for Christmas trees... I grew up with an artificial one, but when I got married my husband and I got a real tree and that's what we do every year. How I love its sweet smell!

Hugs to you!

We have always had a real one, but last year I realized I am always sick at Christmas, I am allergic to the tree so I went out and bought an artificial one for this year. Love yours,

Yay for your win...that's a HUGE win and I'm really glad you won it.
We used to have real trees but when our boy was pretty little, he was allergic to trees so we bought an artificial and have never looked back. I love them....

Christmas is such a fun time of year!! More fun now with Grandbabies!!
Since we use to be military --- had to use artificial trees in Germany and on other posts --- so we just use artificial tree!! But growing up - we would go out and cut our tree(s) down. Would find scrawnie little trees and wire 3 or 4 of them together to make one full tree!! Loved the smell of fresh pine trees!
