Catching Up!

I can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving!
I feel like I am so far behind in everything!
I've been trying to clean up my spare room and get rid of more stuff so I can relax and enjoy the holidays!  No easy task for sure!
I'm doing a couple of ornament exchanges and I've been busy working on those.
I can't wait to show you the results soon!
I have picked up a few things at the thrift shop for Christmas...just can't help myself!
Four napkin rings, four cute little plates and two ornaments (and a Charlie paw photo bomb)
These little snowmen plates were $1 for all four
They have ribbons for hanging but I'm not sure what I'll do with them yet.
They sure are cute!
While in Big Lots I saw this lighted Eiffel Tower and just had to take a photo!
I don't think I'll spend $49.99 for it but it did make me smile!
You know how much I love the Eiffel Tower!

Sara has had a bad cold and since she is also pregnant it's been pretty hard.
She is finally feeling better.

Tiger and I had a fun day together and since they are heading to So. Ga. to see family for Thanksgiving, it was great to spend time with him.

I've got my turkey thawing, my menu planned and now to finish cleaning up my house.
My Mom and my friend Carter are planning to join me Thursday!  I hope all of you will be counting your blessings like I will this year!

Wishing You JOY,
Linda

Those little Christmas plates are super sweet! We have a new Goodwill that opened this weekend around the corner from my house. I'll be making an appearance there tomorrow, I'm sure :) Blessings, Cindy

When I lived in the little blue house, I had a second bedroom. Everything seemed to end up there. I think it's better for ME not to have an extra room at all!

Love your cute little plates, Linda. You are so industrious to cook for Thanksgiving. I have finally thrown in my apron and I am going to go have Thanksgiving dinner with my mom at her retirement apartments. I am happy to have my mom still here to enjoy the day. xo Laura

Oh the Eiffel Tower! Will always remind me of you! LOL! I bought some earrings and I said to my hubby "Linda inspired me to buy these!". Enjoy your dinner Thursday sounds like you are all ready! Noelle and I split the duties. I have it easy, preparing the ham! She will do turkey and I will reverse it for Christmas as I have a 19 lb. turkey waiting in the freezer! LOL! Nick is a pumpkin pie guy! But Rebekah has to show me up! She makes her pies from scratch as in fresh pumpkin! The girl is a maniac! LOL! This year she is doing apple too! Well, I beat her to the punch, hahaha! I am making apple/cranberry pie! My little middle is hilarious! She loves cooking and I admire her fortitude going the extra mile! Hannah is recuperating from her wisdom teeth surgery but that girl is a solid vegetarian so she is easy to please at dinnertime. Just pass the sides! Noelle is Martha Stewart revisted! Her house is perfect, her kitchen looks like Better Homes and Gardens and all her dishes are lined up in order! HaHaHa! We will miss Jeremy helping make the deviled eggs this year. But he works, because he is a manager and gets off at five thirty. He will be home at 6 for the dinnertime festivities. My hubby and I will get extra rest because we won't have to put that turkey in at the crack of dawn! Holy Smokes, Tiger is a handsome young fellow. I know you treasure your time with him. Have a wonderful week. Happy Thanksgiving! Hugs, Anne
