Remembering Paris!

It has been a year since my trip to Paris!
What memories I made
As I look back on that experience I know I will always remember it as such an amazing time in my life.  A year later I'm finally getting a few of my photos printed to put around my home.
This photo may look familiar, it's the one in my header.  I love the architectural look of this photo I took of the Eiffel Tower.  Not long ago I was contacted by Easy Canvas Prints and offered a free canvas for my honest review.  I agreed and ordered my 16 x 20 canvas print. It was easy to use the website and it arrived in a very timely manner!
I had a vintage frame I hung on the wall to accent it and I really like it so much!  It printed out more in sepia tones then black and white but it's perfect to me.

I also ordered a few prints from Shutterfly recently.  I got a large 16 x 20 print which I plan to frame and hang above my bed.
The flower markets were so amazing and this will look great in my bedroom.  Once I find a frame I will decide what color to paint it and then frame this print!

I also ordered two smaller prints from Shutterfly
This 5 x 7 is a favorite photo taken on a very rainy day in Paris.  I love the misty Eiffel Tower in the background.  The photo has a small crease where my brilliant postman bent a Shutterfly cardboard envelope to put it in my mailbox!  GRRRR!

Another Eiffel Tower print.  This 8 x 10 was taken from one of the streets near my apt in Paris.  I love how the signs show up in color in an otherwise mostly black and white print.  It was early evening and I am so happy with how this turned out.

I am still planning to get a few other prints of Paris and maybe of something other then the Eiffel Tower!

As many of you who are regular readers of this blog know, I have been blogging less and less lately.  I have taken some time to decide if I want to continue to blog or not.  I've decided I do!  I love blogging and still have so much to share and I would miss you my friends so much.  I have been in a big transition in my life for the last year, but I think things are setteling down.  I love being able to share my life with you, my sweet Grandson Tiger, Charlie the Cat and my thrifty finds.

Charlie and I are here to stay for bit longer!

Wishing you JOY,

Linda

Please don't quit. I did, and lived to regret it. I needed a break, for sure, but it didn't take long to start missing everybody and what all of you add to my life. Keep up the good work, and your pics are gorgeous!

Linda, I would hate for you to quit. I had to stop for awhile to heal physically and emotionally. So I understand if you do. You would be dearly missed. I would miss seeing photos of Charlie and Tiger.

The first photo of you is so cute. And "Hello" to Charlie. Isn't he a handsome fella. He always has such a peaceful look about him. Glad your break helped you to decide to stay around awhile longer. You would certainly be missed. Hugs, Deb

Your photos are just amazing, Linda! I could never see too many photos of the Eiffel Tower! How neat that you received a free canvas! And I am in love with your flower market photo! I just love the markets. Can't wait to see what kind of frame you find for it. Gee, I can't believe that it's been a year since your trip! If I were you, I would take the dented photo that your mailman messed up straight to the post office to complain!! Oh, you look so good in a beret! Tres chic!!!

PS: I am glad to hear that you will still be blogging! I too have been blogging less and less, and over the past few years debated on weather to continue or not. But, like you, I do really love it, and have met so many wonderful and kindred spirits here. I would miss it!

Just love your prints Linda! The canvas turned out very well. I might just try that. Dang mailman!

Glad to hear you will keep blogging as I would miss you. I've blogged less recently myself, but enjoy it and think I would miss blogging. You've had such a busy year moving your Mom, so take some time to relax.

Linda, I can't believe it's been a year since your trip. Good for you for getting photos printed. I have wanted to do that of some of the door pics I took in Spain. I think you just lit a fire under me because I have been wanting to do a gallery wall in my f.room. Now I should print some of my door photos for it. I was contacted to do a canvas also. I didn't even think of my doors. I did a photo of an old pitcher and daisies. I contacted them back to see what to do next. I was going to do a give away. Haven't heard back and it's been a while ago. Best contact them again. Love your photos!
hugs,
Jann
p.s. glad you are going to continue to blog!
