It's Been A Good Week!

I've been so glad that I am here in Cali with my daughter.  She had her wisdom teeth out last week and since she is no longer a teenager, it's been pretty painful.  I am so glad she is doing well and healing.  We've had quiet days with me taking care of her and enjoying some quiet time myself.
We did go to a local nursery where Ashleigh picked out some new plants for her back patio
I love these but they weren't Ashleigh's choice
She picked up a hanging basket of Fuchsia's
to go with one she already had
They are so pretty
This plant has such pretty flowers
A deep blue-purple, it looks great in her yard.

Yesterday I had the chance to meet a blog friend for lunch!  Betsy of My Salvaged Treasures and I have been online friends for several years and have been planning to meet sometime when I came to Cali to visit Ashleigh.  This time our schedules worked out and we had lunch...A 3 1/2 hour lunch!
We talked and talked and could have gone on and on but Betsy had to get back home.
I hope our smiles say it all!
Thank you Betsy for driving down to meet me, the sweet gifts and especially your friendship!

Back home all is well.  Sara is back to work and the kids started back to school this week.
Tiger had his first day of 3 yr old pre-school
He will be going to the Montessori school Waseca this year and we are all so excited for him!
Before school Tiger had some end of summer adventures
Wading in the river is always fun
Tiger is such an outdoor kid
Don't you love his new boots!  This is Tiger Warrior!  Can't wait to see him next week and hear all about school!

Tomorrow I leave but guess what?
I'm stopping in Denver for a long weekend with my friend Kathe!  So excited and you know there will be photos!

Wishing You JOY,

Linda

I had so much fun visiting with you Linda. I still can't get over how fast the time went by and never a dull moment!! I know it's going to be hard to say "see you soon" to Ashleigh, but you'll be back together in no time. Hope she's feeling much better. Tiger is going to be so excited to see you. Have a great time in Colorado!!

My, it has been a good week for you and what great photos! Thank you for sharing all the smiles with us. I'm glad your daughter is better after having her wisdom teeth removed. I remember having a couple removed when I was a teenager and it caused quite a bit of pain the night after.

Hope you continue to enjoy the rest of your week!

I just love this post Linda. Is there any flower more gorgeous than fuchsia? Tiger is looking mighty cute these days. How cool and fun to meet a fellow blogger, and you get to do it twice. Yay for you!

Sounds like Ashleigh is doing better. She's a lucky lady to have you come out to take care of her and especially for the visit. My husband is in San Jose right now with his son, helping him to move into his new condo - that needs a lot of work on before moving in. Also how neat that you met up with your blogging buddy and love the pictures of Tiger!! How he has grown!! Safe travels heading back this way!!

The cuteness of Tiger just melts my heart!
It's kind of nice to be able to be a "real" mother again, isn't it? Sure you wish your "baby" wasn't in pain, but still....!

I am so glad you are having so many adventures! I redid my blog a few weeks ago and now I have none of my blogs that I follow on it. I just know your blog's name so I was able to goggle it. Oh well, I never have been a great technology person! This weekend was the world's longest yard sale and I remember all the fun we had last year! I did not participate but I did shop a little! We had the best month ever in the booth during July. I just love having a booth and Jeff and I shop for it every weekend! We have found some great flea markets so when you are up my way, we will go!

Hi Linda! Wow in a blink of an eye that little Tiger grew up. What a cutie pie. Glad your daughter did well with the dental stuff. I just had to take my youngest in to get his baby tooth pulled. He is 13 now and it was the only one left and no sign of being loose. Nice you got to meet some blogging peeps too. Cheers!

Hi Linda! I just met a couple of blogger friends as well. It's always so wonderful to meet people, finally, that you have known online for years. It sounds like you had a wonderful three hours of chat!

I am thinking that Cali meant California?
Sounded like a lovely visit!
