What's Up Wednesday

I feel like I have been neglecting my blog
Spring has Sprung and along with it my allergies
Pollen count is high and causes me headaches and a general icky feeling!  I'm hoping some rain tomorrow will wash away some pollen and
restore me to a more active person!

Still I've managed to do a few things!
This Georgia blogger, Cheri, had a birthday in March but all of us gals were here and there and were not able to get together until yesterday!
Mimi's Cafe offered us a wide variety of choices
I had quiche!
Sandie, Sue, Joyce and yes that bright pink 'blob' is me!
We had a great time as always!
One of Cheri's birthday gifts!

Good News!
My cousin that was planning to go to Paris with me but had some heart troubles has found out today she does not have to have a pacemaker!
She is to continue on her meds and they seem to be controlling her AFib!
I am so happy!
So my cousin Joletta is planning on making the trip to Paris with me after all!
We are going to have so much fun!

I hope to get back into the groove of blogging soon.  I have a few thrifty finds to share this week but I need to photograph them first.
These allergies really take all my energy away!

Tiger says thank you for all the great Birthday wishes!  I can't believe he is two, where did the time go?  Here he is with his Mama and Daddy (who had a birthday on April 3rd) celebrating!

Wishing you Joy,

Oh Linda! I love your smile! You all look to be having so much fun :-) And to hear that you will be having a traveling cohort! Yippee! My allergies have been a mess too but hopefully the snow yesterday washed some of the pollen away.

Don't talk about my friend that way. You are not a blob and you are pretty in pink. My allergies are hideously awful, too. Every time I sneeze I feel like my head is going to explode, but I am so happy for the warm weather. How wonderful that your cousin is going to be able to go with you. You all are going to have so much fun and lots to blog about. Hope you feel better.

Oh Linda. SO GLAD you are going to have your cousin to go to Paris with. That was great news.

Don't worry about blogging. We will always be waiting for you when you are able to post. In the meantime, you are thought of fondly.
Take care and thanks for sharing the sweet family photo of your daughter, her hubs and sweet Tiger. Susan

I am so glad to hear that your cousin is doing fine and will be able to accompany I don't have to worry that you'll be alone wondering the streets of Paris...or maybe I should be worried that you two are on the loose....hmmm.

What a beautiful family you have Linda and that Tiger is just as adorable as ever. Hard to believe he is 2, I can remember when you were telling all of us you were going to be a grandma.

You are one social butter-fly. Always on the go and meeting new people every chance you get. Love the photos and you do look great in pink.
Two bloggers are dropping in on me next week while they are on a road-trip. I can't wait to meet them.
I think having a friend to travel with is much better than going alone. You two will have a blast. Hugs, Deb

Allergies are starting here too, we just had a thunderstorm and rain, and more rain Friday. Tiger is so adorable, belated happy birthday to him. I am glad your cousin is doing well and can go to Paris! xo

Hi Linda! Sorry you're having all the allergy problems. I sure understand about them. I haven't been around much either because of giving my time to my little mother. She's so much better. I'm thrilled about your cousin and that she's good to go to Paris with you. I'm glad you won't be going alone! You look great with the other gals and I'm sure you all had a great time. Your daughter's family is so sweet and little Tiger is just growing up so fast and is as cute as a button!
Be a sweetie. Oh, come over to my blog and see the pink cup and saucer you gave me.

I'm with you on the spring allergies. I've been waking up every morning with a headache and totally stuffed up. I'm all out of my Allegra-D; need to get to the pharmacy. I love Mimi's Cafe. I've had breakfast there a few times. And you are not a "blob"! When are you going to Paris?

First and foremost, HOORAY about your cousin!!!! I am really, really glad to hear she won't have to have a pacemaker! That's wonderful and welcome news for her, I'm sure!!! So glad you guys will be able to travel together...that should be tons of fun! (You'll be interested in my post next week given your Paris destination!)

How nice for you guys to get together with a fellow blogger for a party! That's cool!!! I LOVE the food at Mimi's! I could eat there every week! I'm really partial to their turkey dinner.

Blob. Whatever! Quit trippin'! :-)I agree with I'm So look pretty all decked out in your pink! We have GOT to stop letting magazines, billboards and Hollywood control our body image!!!!!!!!! Think of it this way: In some countries you would be a Queen! Those of us who have a little fluff would be viewed as wealthy (able to afford food!) and therefore revered. So there! That's the fun way to see it! :-)

So sorry to hear the allergies are peckin' away at you. That sucks. Mine haven't kicked in yet this year. (Thank you, Lord!) I usually start suckin' back the Claritin and snortin' the Flonase about this time each year, but this year the Lord has been merciful. :-)

Have a great weekend, and thanks so much for stopping by my place earlier today. I appreciate it!
