Gratitude Sunday #7

Welcome to Gratitude Sunday
If you were looking for the link yesterday I have decided to put the link up on Sunday evening.  I am often away from home on Saturday so this will work better for me and I hope for you also!

This week has felt like an upward climb
Cloudy rainy days left me feeling down in the dumps
Wishing for some sunny days
The sun came out and I am grateful for that.
Somehow I lost everything on my hard drive this week.  I know!!  Awful.  I had not backed up my files in many months, so I lost many many photos. It's my own fault and I know better!
I'm grateful I have the photos that I do and that so much of my life is shared on my blog but still...
So lesson learned, back up anything that you would hate to lose!
Like photos of this sweet boy!

What are you thankful for this week?

Wishing you JOY,

Linda

Oh no Linda!! Luckily you do get to see that precious little one often enough (but not often enough I know) to take plenty of more photos. Have a better week my friend! Spring is near :-)

Hope sunshine finds you now. Its awful when a hard drives crashed (been there too). Now I listen for any unusual computer sound when I'm working (could be a hint of hard drive failure). I need to back up too, hundreds of photos since my last backup.

Thanks for hosting Linda. Gratitude Sunday is such a wonderful idea.

Linda, so sorry for your loss. That is one of the bad things about computers.
Thanks for helping us to all be thankful about something each week!
I do hope your week will be better!

Hi Linda....

I honestly thought you were skipping this week.

Your photos today are GORGEOUS. That one with the sun shining through the clouds? Glorious.

Oh, that's terrible about the hard drive loss. How can that happen?

Hope you have a super week. Susan

Oh, Linda, I'm so sorry about your computer. Amazing how much we rely on the bits of electronics to hold some of our most precious things. (My husband just insisted that I sign up for automatic back-up for my computer. It felt weird at first to know that all of my stuff is on a cloud somewhere. It's cheap, and it's worth the feeling of security.)

That little guy sure is getting big!

Lovely photos dear, adorable little man he is. Feel really bad about those lost photos for I too have the same trouble with my hard drive back then so I've learned to backup every little thing from then on. Got my eye on your next posts.

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear about your computer problems. I've been having weeks of issues myself. What a sweet picture of the Tiger! I've been grateful for our spring like weather this past week, but now much needed rain is in the forecast.

OH that's hard to lose your hard drive, I wonder if you took it in to a technician, if they could retrieve it for you? I finally got file backup through my virus protection...after I lost all my photos of a special family wedding in Mexico.

I am so late for the party! OYE! I even had the post up since saturday. Last year when my laptop fried I discovered the hard way about not backing things up. So I can totally relate! Man, Tiger is growing so fast! I always tell Lia that I am going to put a brick on her head to stop her from growing up. I think I may have to send a brick your way for tiger! LOL Thanks for hosting Linda. I hope you have a good day (It is so gloomy here today. At least yesterday we had sunshine).

Ouch!! Lost your photos!! We keep an external harddrive going. Keep one in the bank lock box --- have put too much work into my genealogy and don't want to loose all this info.
