Today I'm sharing a new favorite thing!
My friend and fellow blogger Z at Old Grey Mare and I are both doing the purging challenge. We have committed to purging 100 items from our home. So far I've shown 50 of those items here. Z has shown about that many also and if anyone was interested in an item to contact her! When I saw this item...well I had to...really I HAD to!
An orphan salt shaker and not just any orphan a vintage milk glass orphan! Well sweet Z said she would be glad to send it to me!
When this sweet shaker arrived from Z it wasn't alone....she had sent a few other items she knew I would love
A couple of white creamers for my collection!
Thank you Z!!
I'm thrilled to be sharing my Favorite Thing at
Claudia's party at Mockingbird Hill Cottage!
I'm planning to make a display of all my orphans soon!
** I have decided to start the Gratitude Sunday party on Sunday evening instead of Sat evening, It just works better for me. Hope to see you tomorrow! **

My dear, I believe that is called reverse purging.
;-)
LOL! Keetha is right! Isn't it funny how we switch things around? I love all your sweet gifts. I should just borrow the two of you and you could both help me purge! LOL! It is a job I need to get done!
Have a great weekend Linda!
I like when people stick dainty flowers in the shaker holes like a vase.
How pretty they are! :)
LOL...you purge the way I do! Cute shaker.
Oh, dear. Don't get me started!
I need to do some SERIOUS purging, too!
What sweet gifts and a fun idea. I need to get on the purging bandwagon! I just took a bag to the thrift store. I wish I had counted the items now! heehee! Sweet hugs!
LOL Linda, you purge like I do. Bring more in as the old goes out!
Hi Linda! What a fun idea! Look at that darling shaker and little whities! This is the way to go! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
So much for purging Linda! LOL!
My sister and I try to do this too but she always ends up with my stuff and I end up with hers!
Fun though. Love your little sale shaker and those sweet little creamers.

Together at last, to share the "spice" of life!
So glad your salt shaker found her pepper!
Good idea to purge, Linda. I could purge 1000 instead of 100. ha haha
Susan
That salt shaker is adorable!
Good luck with your purge! I guess I should have counted all the stuff in the two big trash bags I just sent off to the ARC!!
Good think you're purging! I know when I have time, that is on my list too! Love the salt shaker and the white pitchers, XOXO
I've never seen a salt shaker like that before, how adorable! Love the creamers too! What thoughtful gifts:)
I have to agree - reverse purging!
I may have to do this soon.
Brenda
Yeah sounds like reverse purging to me too.........if when I go over to my parents place and come home with a bunch of stuff he is like what the hell how much useless stuff do you need and I am it is only useless to him not me..............lol
I particularly like the creamers! I wonder if we are ever really done with collecting.:-) xo Nellie
So does that mean that you have to purge 103 items then? I should have joined you in the purge. I have been on a cleaning frenzy since Christmas and just keep taking stuff to Goodwill. Nothing fun though.
What a good friend to send these sweet treasures to you. Now you'll have to find three extra items to purge because I know these are staying.
I'm so happy they have a good home <3
Oh my, those are lovely! They would be be right up there in my favourite things, too.
That salt shaker is beautiful, as are the pitchers. That Z is such a doll!
Love the comment about reverse purging! Isn't that just what happens?
Thanks so much for joining in this week, my friend.
xo
