I think most of the Christmas is down and packed up. Still a few things to take down to the basement. I wanted to get the cubbies decorated for January.
I always try to do something 'wintery'
this year it's cardinals and white!
I don't have enough cardinals so added a few other red items to balance the cubbies
A few pottery pieces and milk glass add the white touches
I love cardinals all year round but they are so pretty in the winter
when everything else is so brown
Sharing a few of my milk glass items makes me happy also
This plate was a lucky thrift store find

This Fiesta pitcher was given to me by my friend Sue for my Birthday last year!
Did you notice the cubbies are sitting on something new???
They use to be on a sofa table but now they are on this chest of drawers. A curbside freebie found by my SIL. I brought it home and Mr ALC fixed the drawers on this IKEA find! I am so thrilled because look what it holds!

Look how easy it is to find napkins now...I have two drawers full. The bottom drawer holds tablecloths.
These three drawers hold placemats and runners
I am sooooo happy! This has made more room in my dish closet also! I'll be showing you the changes in there after I clean and edit!

What a great find, I have 2 buffets and still not enough drawer space. Great idea how you put your napkins in there so you can see them.
What a find!! Bet you're thrilled to have now have all these new drawers! You amaze me with all your pretties and where you keep them when not on display! Love your cardinals!! I've even noticed more than usual real/live cardinals at our birdfeeder this winter!

Someone put that Ikea dresser at the curb. Why do people throw good stuff away. My grands have that dresser in their room. Love all your red and white and you have a lot of linens.

I love the red and white in the cubbies. It looks wonderful. I just saw one of those cardinal plates at the thrift store the other day. I searched for more but, no luck. Great find on the freebie dresser. I have all my napkins and what nots in two freebie dressers as well. Great minds and all that! LOL

There's the cubbies! You know...I live in Kentucky. Not only is the cardinal our state bird, but I just so happen to be a HUGE Louisville Cardinals fan! Haha!

Hi girl! You know I love milk glass as much as you do but you always display stuff so nicely. And you are soooooo organized! Figured I'd better pop in occasionally or people will think I've moved to Tibet (I wish!).
With all the goodies you have, you need more space. Everything looks very nice and used in a good way.
