A THRIFTY RED, WHITE AND BLUE TABLESCAPE

I am sharing a previous tablescape today for
Diann's Thrift Tablescaping Party over at The Thrifty Groove
Originally posted July 2010 it's another tablescape done completely with thrifted/yard sale items
Red, white and blue for summer!
I found these cute cherry plates for $1 each and knew they would go with this quilted table runner I found at the thrift for $1.99
With cherry applique's
First the cherry plates, then a soft blue salad plate (.49 ea)
topped with a dark blue desert dish
I filled them with sparkley cherries from Pier 1 found at a thrift for $1 for a new unopened box...love them!
Water pitcher with cherries on it was a yard sale find for $2
Water goblets in the same design as the desert dish.  I found a set of 20 pieces of this King's Crown pattern in this gorgeous shade of blue at a yard sale for $2
Red napkins and Red handled silverware both found at thrift shops
Red Petunias for some additional color were
bought on clearance at Home Depot
A couple of red votive candles, white S & P's thrifted of course and this table is complete
Ready for some lunch?
I love to set a pretty and fun table and thrifting/yard sales let me do this on a very thrifty budget!  I hope you will visit Diann's Thrifty Tablescaping Party and see what others can do on a budget also.
Happy Junkin,
Linda

Hi Linda Sweetie...
Oh what a gorgeous share this morning. I have these very cherry plates. I bought the whole set some time back, a service for 8. Love cherries. Your table runner is so pretty, and the appliqued cherries are a perfect match. I love that you added the dark blue desert cups on top, so pretty. A gorgeous table setting, just gorgeous.

This cherry girl LOVES it. A+ sweetie. Job well done. So pretty and inviting. Now if I could only find me a box of those cherries as well.

Have a glorious weekend sweetie. Country hugs and much love from Phoenix, Sherry

This is a red white and blue that would be pretty at any time of year, or for those of us who don't have a patriotic reason to use these colours. Very nice!

The King's Crown glassware is totally gorgeous. We had some when I was growing up but of amber color. I wonder what happened to them.

You definitely have a knack for putting cool tablescapes together!

Wow..georgeous tablescape..you put your heart and soul into this one.

Before my husband died we had taken in half of the longest yard sale... I must say I was getting a bit pooped out on just half of it.

Thanks for sharing this great white and blue table scape with us again.
Hugs Elaine..starting to feel somewhat better..still tired
