I must admit the heat is getting to me! Still it does not stop me from going to some of my favorite thrifts! I didn't see anything this week worthy of 'Would you Buy It Wed' at Junker Newbie so decided to show you something from last years Longest Yard Sale.

Mr ALC has a collection of clocks and when I saw this one thought it would be a nice addition to his collection
It was marked $10~~but this is the WLYS and everything is negotiable
I haggled with the man and walked away, he came after me and we finally settled on
$5.....so would you have bought it?
Mr ALC also loves old fans and last year found several from one dealer...this was my favorite

I would decline both but then again, my hubs doesn't collect either of those.

I bid on box with a couple old art deco clocks in it at the last auction, but they went for more than I wanted to pay... so yes! I'd pick them up! :)

Oh, I like old fans, too! We have an oldie that needs it's motor replaced...been meaning to get around to that for about 10 yrs now. Great deco clock, too.
Love all of it! Me and the ex-hubby had a whole mantle of old clocks and we also had a selection of old restored fans just like the one you pictured and others. Hmmmm...wonder if he gave me the clocks and a fan or two? LOL I have so much packed up in my Mobile Attic and haven't had a chance to see what I have...when I do it will be like Christmas!

Linda, my husband LOVES vintage fans. If he saw this one, he would be so jealous. It looks like it's in such great condition too. The clock is cool too, but we don't collect those. laurie

Oh yes, that clock would have come home with me for sure! I think you know by now that I have a thing for old clocks. That one is a beauty!! I love the fan too!

I would've bought both pieces. I have an old fan, but my clocks are all repros. It's hard to find the original double bell/hammer style alarm clocks for a reasonable price.
