MORE BARGAINS FOR THRIFTY FINDS FRIDAY

It's Friday and time to share some thrifty finds with you!  I went to a small church rummage sale and came away a big winner!  Here is my haul from one place!
I'm pretty sure this is a McCoy vase
and I love the green creamer
I got three of these cute shamrock plates
This plate will look great in a Christmas vignette...I do love Cardinals!
The teacup and saucer don't match but I love the way they look together
A vintage Federal Glass refrigerator dish with lid
A Spring Blossom Pyrex fridgie (no lid), a shell box, cute pillowcase and 9 children's books
This great old crate with some old canning jars with zinc lids

I was nervous when I asked for my total since nothing was priced....
then they said
$12
Can we say happy dance!

I'm joining Diann at The Thrifty Groove

Don't forget to enter my
Made in the USA giveaway
I will pick a winner on July 10th

Hugs,
Linda

Oh, I dearly love your finds! My mom had 3 of those federal refrigerator containers, but sadly we gave them to Goodwill when they moved from their home. Thanks for sharing! Love your blog and putting you on my "reader list." We have a *lot* in common, come over for a visit any time!

Oh my stars! I adore the vintage Federal Glass refrigerator dish with lid, and the canning jars and crate! You are amazing. Are you gearing up for the big yard sale? It's not too far away.

Church sales are the best! Love the pottery and the shamrock plates, and that crate just looks so pretty, just the way it is. It would look great out on your deck!
Happy Weekend,
Carol

I am going to have to look for church sales - ours is mostly clothes and toys for new moms.

Loved the children books and know who you will be reading them too.

All great finds for $12.

Hey you don't have a button!

Hi Linda,
I love all of your wonderful finds. The shamrock plate, is I believe majolica. My sister collects majolica and I used to. She has several plates like yours. If it is majolica, then it's valued at about $65. for one plate.

Hope you are having a nice summer.

You did not just say that you got all of this for $12~surely that's not what you said! Oh how I love church sales! I always find a bargain, but nothing as good as what you found! Each of those items, alone, is worth more than $12. A-maz-ing! laurie

Fantastic finds for $12!!! You really have a "nose" for bargains and and "eye" for special things, Linda. That pretty floral cup and saucer looks very similar to a pattern I am collecting from Noritake. xo,

Now I am Jonesing for a church sale. There have been fewer this year around here. Not that I need more stuff but it is the thrill of the hunt.
My heart sung a happy tune at the Little Golden books.
You had me worried when you said nothing was marked. Many church sales I've been to use generalized pricing.

If I feel like fighting crowds at a street fair tomorrow (in the heat) there is a small rummage to benefit an animal rescue I want to support.
I'd best not stay up all night blog hopping!

Linda, I really like your shamrock plates and the crate of canning jars! I think most church sales really are good bargains. I've hit a few this year that thought they were retail stores, though! LOL Needless to say, I didn't buy. Glad you got so much for only $12. :-) Sue

I love McCoy pottery... It's easy on the eyes, VERY functional and not over-priced like so many other makes of pottery.
