HAPPY 4TH OF JULY & A GIVEAWAY!

It's July and I'm ready to celebrate!
I decided to change out the cubbies from the birds to Red, White & Blue
It was fun to shop the house and see what I could find!
I don't have a lot of 4th of July decorations but I think the grouping of all the items in red, white & blue has a wonderful impact!
The top holds my Texas state cut out and a USA Rooster...the next two shelves hold Texas items along with some family treasures.
I do love my "Don't Mess with Texas" items and they fit right in with celebrating the 4th of July
I will be looking for some more Americana to add to these cubbies for next year.
This Texas Blue Bonnet plate was a recent find and was only 75 cents!
I love adding unexpected items such as my Texas state charm bracelet
A Longerberger basket made in the USA and a Freedom sign!
I'm linking up to Seasonal Sundays

To celebrate the 4th of July
I'm having a giveaway
It's items 'made in the USA'
Four adorable Hen napkins, Pyrex casserole in the Butterfly gold pattern and two McCoy coffee mugs!
Napkins...made in USA
Pyrex made in USA
McCoy USA

The cubby looks great Linda! I love this kind of decor just as much as ones with stars and stripes. It's all about red, white and blue! I can't really say what my favorite Made In The USA thing is, but I DO know that when I bought some Scotch Tape yesterday, it said that it was Made In The USA in bold letters, and that made me real happy!
Have a great 4th!

No need to add my name to the giveaway, but I always have to stop and see what you've got going on. LOVE the red, white and blue in the cubbies....I'm sure it has much to do with the 'red'! That little teapot is adorable.

But not as adorable as Tiger! Is there a more photogenic child?

Well of course I follow you. You are one of the better influences in my life. Right now I am thinking I should set up a cubbie display to limit the overflow of "stuff" in my life and make displaying it more enjoyable.

dogsmom said...

I am going right now to add this contest to my most recent post about parties and contests to visit. That will buy me some time to think about my favorite U.S.A. made item.

dogsmom said...

I blogged about this here http://dogsmom.wordpress.com/2011/07/04/to-enjoy-today-and-to-look-forward-to/ and I found my favorite made in the USA item here
http://store.bigplush.com/storefrontprofiles/DeluxeSFItemDetail.aspx?sid=1&sfid=114670&c=108861&i=251520536
(a bigger than life Saint Bernard plush)

Now if I can find a frivilous $300...

My real USA made choice would be handmade items, Amish made items, or Ben & Jerry's ice cream? (Now that Zurheide's ice cream has closed.)
