It's Friday and time to show us your favorite thrifty bargains!
Last week we had a wonderful time with 48 of you joining the party!
This week I have a couple of wonderful thrifty finds to share
I found this Pyrex teapot for $2.60
It is in wonderful condition and a great addition to my collection
I got this "Taskets" basket for 60 cents
Not as well know as Longaberger baskets these are also hand made, I have found several and use them often
This is a loaf/bread basket
The cloth liner was in it but the plastic protector was not...still in wonderful condition
These black stemmed wine glasses were 99 cents each...these have been on my 'want list' for awhile...they will be seen in a tablescape soon
These 3 rice bowls were $1.51 at the Goodwill.
The color, shape and design are perfect for another tablescape I'm planning
I'm happy with my junkin finds this week. Can't wait to see what all of you have found to share!
Please link up your post and not just your blog. Be sure to include a link in your post back to this party so others can join in.
Thanks to all of you who join in each week, I appreciate it so much!
Happy Junkin,
Linda

You always have such neat thrifted items. Can't wait to see what you do with the goblets and bowls.
I don't link up because I haven't done any recent thrifting. I did have lots of thrifted or sales deals in this tablescape. Hope that's OK.
Thanks for hosting, Hugs, Ginger

Happy weekend,
Barb
good finds! i have been trying to avoid my fave thrift store, since i don't need anything. i have been doing way too much online shopping these days!
What wonderful and thrifty finds! I've thought about buying one of the old Pyrex coffee pots to actually use. Have you ever made coffee in one? I just wondered if they make better coffee than the automatic drip kind. Hope you have a great weekend!

P.S. Your blog background it so elegant!
Linda-Love your goodies, especially the stemmed glasses! Congrats to you to on becoming a grandmother! When is the baby due? I have enjoyed reading all the different names. They have a way of making up their own name no matter what you choose! Have a good weekend!
I just found your blog today and I love it. I can't wait to read more posts. I also linked up today for the first time. Thanks for the opportunity.
That teapot is gorgeous. Love love love it. You did well.
great finds - as usual!! love that teapot, it has such a pretty shape!
Can't wait to see that tablescape with those glasses! Can I expect some Milkglass with it?
Have a nice Week-end Linda!
I *adore* that Pyrex tea pot! I am looking for one, too -- we had the same thing but the coffee pot when I was growing up!!
I saw that same Pyrex Tea Pot at the thrift store last Friday! Unfortunately it was in the hands of a handsome young man. I say he had great taste! I wish I had found it a few minutes before he did!
I have the same rice bowls and use them for Everything!
See...great minds think alike. Can't wait to see how you use them and perhaps copy...ooops be inspired to use mine in a similiar manner! :)
Nice glasses, wish I could have found some like that for my wedding. I looked all over and never could find a set or four to use for the wedding toast. Thrilled you were able to find a pair.
Have a great weekend!
Lots of wonderful finds this week, Linda...I really love the bread basket!
Hey Linda ... love your finds! My mom has the Pyrex tea pot you feature and uses it every day. I love it! She is so frugal that she only uses one teabag for that whole pot. Not me! I love my tea and I love it strong ... thanks for sharing and for hosting this fun party.
Have a nice weekend.

That tea pot - it's exactly like the one my mum used when I was growing up. It sat on a wire 'star' on the back of the stove, getting stronger and stronger as the day went on and mum added tea and boiling water.
I've never seen a teapot like yours before! I love baskets, and I'm so jealous...in a good way...of your find! My dream find would be to find a Longaberger basket at a sale...I can only dream.
Great finds Linda! I love that little basket, and what a great price!
I really like that pyrex tea pot. An elderly lady at church age 97 gave me a pyrex tea pot and coffee pot becuase she is moving back to Texas .at the time I didn't want them but I am really glad to have them now since I love pyrex and have started collecting the pastel colors
Janice
Hi Linda-love the tea pot! Oh I can't wait to have time to go thrifting! Right now I'm all over the place trying to go through things to sell and also change rooms around.....don't know which direction is which!
Love seeing your latest thrifts....

gail
I certainly understand about your last post-I just can't seem to get in any groove-the weather's been pretty-but all I want to do is just lay on the couch or in bed-I hope it passes soon for us both-I hate it!
