PINK CHRISTMAS ENCORE!

Hi Everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  I am working on getting all my Christmas out of the basement, up those stairs and placed just so in the house.  Until then I wanted to share an 'encore' post from last year.  It's my Pink Girly tree!
I have always wanted a Girly tree and this year I bought a 3 ft white tree for the Pink room. I bought as inexpensively as possible pink ornaments, some from the thrift, some from Ross and some from the Dollar Tree. I think it came out so cute!!!

I put a special decoration on the tree. On my first Birthday that Mr ALC and I were together he gave me this princess crown and I loved it. Wore it to work, cause I am THE Princess! So of course it has to go on the girly tree.

I had to take several photos of this most valuable tiara...(yes I know it's plastic and for a child...but it's MY princess crown).

The little snowflakes were from dollar tree, 6 for $1! The small pink ornaments are from the thrift and the pink spiral I had.

Of course the Girly tree has to have cute things underneath it.....a pink snowman stocking, pink box with a gift and a doll. I needed a tree skirt but didn't want to spend a lot of $$ so I got a cute baby blanket for 50 cents and I think it looks perfect.

Now this sweet little angel doll was in a bag of Christmas goodies I bought at the GW. I didn't realize how cute she was until I opened the bag. She has a little bit of a pug nose, gives her character.

I don't have a lot of fancy decorations, but the one's I put up I enjoy. The larger tree in the living room is where the older ornaments and things the children made are displayed. I've not quite gotten that tree up yet...hmmmm, it's how many days until Christmas? Wishing you all the best this lovely Christmas season.

This post makes me want to get my trees up and I will be working on that this weekend!  Until then I hope you enjoy this little peek of pink Christmas!

I am joining in these fun parties this weekend!

I can't decide which is harder. Walking all those stairs getting those Christmas decorations out of storage or cleaning flower beds in the spring. Both are painful seasonal experiences!!

Love your girly tree!!!!

Love your girly tree! Happy PS!

I love decorating with pink at Christmas time too. Our tree doesn't have a colour theme and is decorated with ornaments we have collected over the years so I use pink in other parts of the house. The sweet little girly tree is a brilliant idea that I might try-thanks for the idea!

Best wishes,
Natasha.

A girly tree...I love it! And I love how you decorated it, the tiara is too cute!

Our tree is very much like your big one...lots of things the kids made and that I bought as they grew up. Sometimes I think it belongs in Disneyland!

Have a happy weekend!

Hi Linda!
I love your sweet girlie tree and where else would you place your lovely crown than on a tree fit for a Princess. How romantic and endearing that Mr. A La Carte gave that to you.

Now I'm going to have to do me a girlie tree too.

See what you started?

Hugs,
Sissie

The pinks and whites are so pretty. A friend of mine makes these adorable pink candies every year at Christmas time that would look just great under that tree.

I hope all your climbing up and down the stairs to get all your Christmas things out of the basement is finished and you can just get on with the fun part... setting up! :-)
