Welcome to Junkin Finds Friday! I can't believe this is the fourth party I've hosted! I am enjoying this so much and thank each and everyone of you that take the time to link up each week! FYI ~ next Thursday is Thanksgiving and I know most of you will be busy this week with cooking and family time. We will not have JFF next week but will resume the week after!
Please add your links below. Be sure to link up your post not your blog. Please have a link back to the party here in your post so others can join in! That's it and have a great week!
Today I am showing a new addition to my cubby
This beautiful little Fenton vase was found at The Apple Barrel Antique store in Breman, GA
The shape and the color grabbed me as I walked by it
Holding my breath as I checked the price...$6
Wow, it's mine!
This large chip is why the low price, but on my shelf it doesn't show and it makes me really happy!
Vintage Christine showed some of these beauties on her blog recently and so when I saw this I was thrilled!
Unless I am short on time I always check out the books
This one was $2.50 at the Goodwill
I love having reference books to help me with all the goodies I find! This one is by the fabulous Gene & Cathy Florence
I have several of their books and they are wonderful!
I also found this collected works of William Shakespeare
again $2.50 it was published in 1937
So join in and show me your junk and your bargains!
Happy Junkin!
Linda

Hi Linda, Glad I was able to participate this week. :-) Your hobnail Fenton vase is so pretty and I'm sure that it DOES make a nice addition to your shelves. A little imperfection doesn't bother me- heck, I've been called "cracked" more than once. Does anyone even use that expression anymore?! Thanks for hosting.

Hugs, Beth
what fun colors on that glassware. good idea with the reference books-i only know what things are from other bloggers.
What a beautiful find. Those little imperfections are fine with me, they still look so pretty and who notices anyway? I'm always picking up reference books even if they're old. The prices are never too accurate even in the new books, and I use them just to identify what I have.
Thank you once again for hosting this fun party.
Love the Fenton Glass. The color is so vibrant...
and the Shakespeare to this old retired teacher is priceless!
Thanks for hosting, Annette

Okay first of all I love the color of the vase, you know me and orange. And I love Fenton pieces. I am afraid that I didn't get my act together for a post today, but I am working on stockpiling so to speak a bunch of posts. I love taking the photos, it is just the darn downloading that takes forever. P.S. I love the new header.

Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Hi Linda,
I just love your new (old) Fenton glass vase. It's gorgeous. The colors in it are beautiful. Oh, lucky you. I love the fluted edges and the bubble beaded look to it. And that's a good price, too.
I wish I could have taken part in this Junkin' Finds this past week but Mom stayed the weekend and it was busy the whole time. I barely had a chance to jot down anything at CluckleBees. :-)
I'll be in the next one you have the week after Thanksgiving. I hope you have yourself a wonderful week,
Hugs,
Susan
Oh my gosh, Linda! You always find the best things!
