I am joining Southern Hospitality for Todays Thrifty Treasures
Join in every Monday and share your wonderful Thrifty Finds!

I found these 5 glasses at a Thrift Shop in Biloxi, MS on my way home from Texas.  They were in a bag and for a good price I picked them up.
I think the shape is interesting, but the little piece of wood wrapped around each glass really caught my eye.  It keeps you from touching a cold glass I would think.
The glass is frosted and in very cool colors.  My favorite of course is the PINK!
I also found these 4 Christmas plates, they have a place for a cup but no matching cups were to be found
They are marked Harmony House
I like the candle design!

These are just a few more of my favorite thrifty finds

Those cups are super cute. I have never seen any like those. They will be fun to drink lemonade in this summer!

We had cups just like those when I was growing up. They were in the top of the cabinet and never used. I remember selling them at a garage sale years ago...there were also some mugs with wooden handles that went with them....memories. Nice find!

Linda thanks for stopping by my blog, you can come shopping with me anytime(you just have to be willing to drive to NY). I love what you found too, those glasses are right up my ally and the plates would be so nice at Christmas time.

Those glasses are so perfectly retro! And those plates are so cute. Did you thrift all the way to Texas and all the way back? If you did, that must have been so much fun. That's a dream for me, to take a road trip and just thrift the whole way, filling up the car as I go along!
Happy Monday!

I had those same glasses and sold them last year at my lawnsale. I sometimes wish I could keep everything I have ever owned, but would have to own to houses to hold everything. Oh Well.

Hi Linda - the glasses are really different. I like them. You asked about my cat-sitting business...I actually started cat-sitting to have a part-time job when my children were small. I was a stay at home mom and needed some balance. I knew I wanted to work with cats so I started volunteering at the local animal hospital and then the cat-sitting came after that. I posted an add in the paper, made up some business cards and placed them at the vet's and pet stores. I now care for kitties in more than 50 different households. No turning back now. Have a great evening. Deb

Yup, those glasses look very similar to the three I just found. They are such a fun style! And I love the colors

Oh, those Christmas plates are so pretty. You don't see Christmas plates that are that simple and with a candle design. I love that!
