Linda those are so precious and they really made me smile!~ My father in law just gave me some little rabbits from Germany.
A sweeter version of my "ugly dolls". Love them!!
These are all adorable Orphans...I have a couple, and that is it...just a couple!!! Have a great VTT!
Linda, oh my, what great little collections!
Cute post, Linda. Loved the twins separated at birth the best. Oh Lordy. What do I adopt? Guess a better question for me would be "What DON'T you adopt? " ha! I am collection oriented and have never counted all the different ones I have. Some people would say I'm compulsive. I'd say, I'm happy! Ha! Sincerely, susan
I enjoyed seeing all the things you featured today, but the salt and pepper shakers are the cutest.
These are so cute and precious. I love the salt and pepper orphans and all the others too! Cute post!
ok, seriously - those are amazing!!!
I collected salt and pepper shakers when I was young. I think some of your orphans might have been mine in another life.
I love all your adopted babies!
(Sandra Bullock got hers today - did you see the news - he is a cutie).
What do I adopt? I have to give that some thought.
Hope you are having 'fun'.

Linda,
This is such a sweet idea, to recue all those ones without mates! My favorite is the fruit, they are adorable. Thanks for the great post!
What a cute way to think of these little singles. It's fun to focus on something like this. Unfortunately I tend to find myself collection all sorts of things. :-)
How sweet that you adopt the little orphans! They are so cute!

I'd LOVE to adopt that little pig!!! So cute!
How sweet that you take the orphans. I bet they are good conversation pieces too. I know I liked hearing about them.
Oh they are still cute even all by themselves. Together they make quite a fun group.
How cute! There's a lot you can use together even though they don't match! Great idea.
Oh cute! I never would have thought to call single salt or pepper shakers orphans. But you have given them all a good home with what looks like many friends, so maybe they are no longer orphans??
Thanks for the great post~

What a fun collection...
I didn't see any vintage ones. I have a lone pepper one from the 40's..interested? Let me know, it needs a good home. What do I adopt? BLOGS!
Great O post!
I seem to adopt poor little animals that need a home! I love your little orphanes, each so sweet and what a interesting little orphange they make...good thing they can count on you to keep them together! Come say hi :D
How sweet to have so many cute little orphans! Blessings, Vicky
Such a cute and sweet orphan collection! I love salt & pepper shakers but when I see only one I think no way - maybe I should be buying those little orphan ones too!
I just expected them, at any moment, to break out into a chorus of "Oliver".
What a fun collection.
I also adopt orphan salt and pepper shakers. Someone has to give them a good home, right?
What a fun collection! They would mae great conversation starters.
Old people and animals. :)
Such cute little orphans. I like the ones with the little handles on the side! I collect creamers. But they have to be orphans because I do not want the sugar bowls. I will not break up a pair just to get the creamer. Good term for the other half!
Hi Linda~ ~ Thanks for stopping by and for all your sweet comments.
When I saw you gave your china cabinet away I thought What a huge heart you have. Isn't it fun to give and surprise a dear friend. That's why I'm having the GiveaWay it's just so much fun!
Have a great weekend.

Fantastic. Thanks for taking in those orphans.
Oh wow they are just beautiful!! Love it! Happy weekend!

Such PRECIOUS orphans!!! Many of them reminded me of thimbles because of their shape - - - which of course made me remember the childhood favorite "Thimble, Thimble, who's got the Thimble?"
LOL! That's a loaded question. Here the answer is kids and pets! Orphaned salt and pepper shakers would have been much easier to take care of! LOL!
There's a good chance in my house some of my S & P collection could BECOME orphans. I bumped the shelf the other day and and to act fast to save a few of them!
You really have a cute colletion. At least S&P's are small and don't take up too much room, depending on the quantity of course!
Hugs,
Dawn
That's a cute collection.
I love all your "orphans", they made me smile....Now go to my blog and pick up an award that I choose you for...
Very cute.
I was actually wondering.
Happy Thursday!
Mine is here
hugs

Those are too cute!! Love the little kitty cats! BTW April has 15% off on her site this week because it's her birthday so there are some nice deals on linens. I looked on Amazon and ebay, but found better prices on the sale things at her site. Thanks for coming by:-)
What lot of orphans you have and I love them all.
They are beautiful orphans...I loved them all, but I never see any that cute. It seems I adopt everything else though. Happy VTT..
Linda, what precious orphans.
And I'm sure that when a bunch of sweet orphans are together they become a family collection!
Thanks for this outstandingly sweet post on my little journey through Alphabe-Thursday's Letter "O".
A+
My favorite is the pepper shaker.
Oh the cuteness of them all! Orphans need love too:)
Hey Linda!
I just now getting around to catching up! Hope you ar having fun!
What a cute collection! All the S & P 's would be so fun to mix and match on tablescapes!
Orphans? Me? No way! I am so about the "only complete settings"!
Wow! I couldn't even type that with a straight face!
Troy thinks I am running an Orphanage for lonely deserted dishes! I take in all strays!
I love your orphans and wish that I could follow you around sometime when you go to the flea markets. Super post! Thank you...
Linda, this was such a cute post, and what a cute collection of orphans you have! laurie
I LOVE this. I'm going to look more closely the next time I thrift/antique shop. Thanks for the idea, Linda.
swooooonnnn! these are all so wonderful. I am besotted and in thimble envy!
At first glance, I thought they were thimbles. The dog with the cocked head is my favorite!
Your "orphans" are lovely and well-loved. Thank you for rescuing them so that they will have "mates" at your house.
I used to collect dolls but they are now packed away for my granddaughter.
i love those fruit orphans, very pretty!
What an adorable post! I an running to my local antique store ASAP and adopting some of my own orphans! I love the idea of each unique piece...I hate matching sets all the time! There is a local hot dog shop down the street from my house and they feature adorable salt and pepper shakers on each table...all vintage and similar to your orphans:) Too cute!
I like your orphans. What a great idea.
I collect dolls.
Those orphans are perfectly adoptable!!
Love,
Susan and Bentley
xxoo
what a great collection!
Hi Linda...so cute this half of a collection....I love it...
A couple of us are meeting for pizza next Friday up in Kennesaw if you want to join us give me a holler....I need to pick your brain about Etsy....Your shop is great...love what you have for sale...I still have to tweek mine a bit....Sue.
I knew someone who used to take orphaned salt and pepper shakers and turn them into fabulous decorative tassels.
They are precious and I so understand their calling. I have one orphan I would like to get mated, actually cause he's missing his girl. But I like your sweet orphans all displayed together. Maybe I should start a lonely hearts collection. What a wonderful post!
That's a great idea for a collection - perhaps somebody will see it and find they have the partner!!
Oh I think I like these better mixed and matched than if they were in pairs! The two fruit ones together are adorable and I love the animal shakers!
"Old cats". Loved your post.
Great post - and a sweet collection. I adopt goats......and old china pitchers. One collection takes some work and the other just takes up space!
I love this collection Linda! The kitty and doggy are so sweet. I think you're really on to something here. You can get a cute little figurine for a fraction fo the cost, and unless you look closely, you won't even know that they're s&p shakers. When I go to the flea market this Sunday, I'm going to look for some orphan shakers!
Happy VTT!
Carol
Hi Linda! Oh, what cute little orphans and I'm so glad you've adopted them! I used to have a slew of salt and peppers as a child. I only have a very set sets left.
Thank you so much for popping in to see me.
be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
What lovely little orphans :) . They've found a good home!
Blessings,
Catherine :)
Fabulous O post, you are definately in my top 5 this week!
I love the idea of collecting orphans and giving them a new loving home.
See you next week for P.
~Maggie~
Soooo CUTE! I loved visiting your orphans...who knew that could be a wonderful collection too?
I'm on it!
Hugs,
