RED THINGS...
Two square plates at Value Village for $1 each
Pretty little dish with the red band also from Value Village and it was $2.02...It looks like some wine glasses I got before Christmas
Another view of the plate....the little birds aren't Red but I fell in love with them....$7 for the pair
This one is showing off the stars on a table runner I found at Goodwill, brand new still in the package from Kohl's
It was $2.60 and I can see it being used in many ways this summer

TIME FOR A GIVEAWAY!
It has taken me awhile to achieve this goal. My first post on this Blog was dated Sept 1, 2008. At the time this started out for friends and family only and was about 'new beginnings'. I only had 8 posts in 2008. On Sept 2, 2009 I posted about losing my job. I didn't post again until Nov 4, 2009. At that time I had found many other blogs about thrifting and decorating and other fun things. So I jumped in and I haven't stopped since. I have been having such a great time and have made many new friends! I am so thankful for all the encouragement I get, the warm advice and even compliments on my photos. So Now I am going to have a GIVEAWAY...but......... you have to come back tomorrow for it.

Those plates are beautiful and I love the sweet little birds, but I'm not ready for summer yet! I know, I know, you have to grab it when can at the thirft stores. Actually, I do have a set of Americana Christmas ornaments so the stars and stripes would fit right in!
