MY WORD FOR 2010--GROWTH

Instead of doing New Year's Resolutions I like to choose a word to describe my hopes for the new year.  This year my word is GROWTH!  2009 was not a great year for me.  Many wonderful things happened but a major change occurred when I lost my job in August.  With unemployment the highest in years and in Georgia higher then the nations average (over 10%) I am faced with finding a new path in my life.  So the word GROWTH is my hope for 2010.

I will keep my mind open to new possibilities and opportunities.  As I start a new decade in my life I will take time to enjoy my family and friends, the things I love and follow my dreams!  The Path may be hard, but I am open to what I will find at the top!

Linda

Hey Linda,
I love your attitude....I'm hoping this "New Year" brings you all that your heart desires. Something tells me it will. You know how that saying goes, "when one door closes.... another one will open up" I think that's true.

The silver pieces are lovely in the post below...that's such a pretty pattern.

What fun seeing your best thrifty find for 2009. You have such a Lovely home, you are blessed. I sure do love those established neighborhoods, with the big old trees....and your porches are awesome, bet you'll be enjoying some iced sweet tea this summer out there! I know I would....Hey,can you tell I'm already dreaming of summer, after seeing that pretty green grass in your summer home photos?!
Hope you have a great week...
Big Hugs,
Queenie

I think with your attitude it will be a case of one door opening as another one closes.

Hi Linda. I know that losing ones job is scary to say the least. But remember that God has a plan and you might be surprised where he takes you. I lost my job last year and ended up doing what I've always dreamed of "writing". I now work as a freelance writer and from home as well. Hang in there and good things will come.

I love that pictures of the steps and I know exactly what you mean by growth - one step at a time. Looking at yourself - seeing what needs to be fixed and what can stay the same. Good for you and I am going to join you.

Did the 'circle' fit your personallity or not?
